It is impossible to convert an alias to another type of account. It is impossible to convert another type of account to an alias.
An alias is not an account. It is meant to be a temporary thing - a mask over your account's face. 🙂
You can convert accounts (full, email, trial or Family Pack subaccounts) from one type to another, sometimes needing to wait until the account expires.
