Q: How can I tell if I am really using 128-bit WEP to talk to the ABS?

A: This only works if you have configure access to your ABS, but:

1) Open the AirPort Admin Utility
2) Select your ABS
3) Click the "Configure" icon at the top of the window and login to your ABS
4) Select the "Password" icon at the top of the window

If you are connected via 128-bit WEP, the supplied password will be a 26-character hex string.

If you are connected via 40-bit WEP, the supplied password will be a 13-character string.
