I've purchased an iPod and need to install the iPod software onto my Tiger system. The iPod installer says that it needs the Networking Update to be installed, which I can't find or install. How do I install the iPod software?
This message appears because the iPod software you're trying to install wasn't designed to install on 10.4 systems. Therefore, you will get this error message. The current iPod updater will install on systems running 10.4 and newer.
