I really don't see the significance of your post in regard to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Apple\Installer Cache\** and not to belittle b noir who is fine.
Basically there's not a problem installing QT on a clean computer. Most failures of getting QT to install are caused by old msi files. If someone starts removing components of a program of course it's not going to work
Hi Jacumba,
Are you wondering if the User Tip QuickTime for Windows and Apple Application Support is valuable as it is easy to install QuickTime on a clean Windows installation?
Maybe some people are unaware of the shared resources then are surprised when something breaks.
Is there something you think should be added to the tip regarding msi files?
Or do you have a User Tip regarding msi files you can contribute? Please feel free to submit any User Tip you think is needed.
Thanks,
Nubz
