12 Fully working
Minolta Dimage Xt - Thanks to Pete. "Works fine with iPhoto, although it has the annoying habit of mounting a disk icon on my desktop that I have to remember to eject after each import." <http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/minolta/dimage_xt-review/index.shtml>
Casio Exilim EX-Z3 - I borrowed a friends and confirmed it as working with iPhoto, shows up as Casio EV Camera, should also extend to the >Pentax Optio S(Apparently the same camera with a different body can anyone confirm this?). Have had some difficulty unmounting the camera without complaints from OSX but does not seem to affect how it works.
Casio Exilim EX-S2 and EX-S3 - Thanks to Kevin. "Connects flawlessly with iPhoto for photos. For videos, you open the Casio drive that pops up on your desktop and drag the video out. Double click on it and it opens up seamlessly in Quicktime."
Olympus Mju 300 or Stylus 300 - Thanks to Alex. "it works perfectly with iPhoto. when it's plugged in iPhoto starts up and sees the photos on the camera. Fantastic!"
Minolta DiMage S414 - Thanks to John P. "Works just great w/ iPhoto. "
The Canon A70 - Thanks to John G. "Is recognized in 10.2.8. There's a switch to change between play and record modes, just flip the switch to Play."
Sony DSC-V1 - Thanks to Jon. "Apparently worked with iPhoto until the last security update for another user."
David Fry, "Sony DSC V1 not recognized", 05:13pm Aug 23, 2003 CDT
Parctika DCZ 3.2 - Thanks to Koen. "It works fine"
Fujifilm S7000 - Thanks to Russ. "Works with iPhoto"
Samsung Digimax 360 - Thanks to Ken. "A fine camera and iPhoto works well"
Kodak DX6490 - Thanks to PMurphy & Barry. "Works with iPhoto"
Canon Digital Ixus I - Thanks to Simon. "Canon Digital Ixus I works perfectly. It does seem strange that Apple doesn't have this model on their compatibility list, yet iPhoto 2 automatically connected and told me which camera I was using! It must be off-putting for some buyers when they don't see the model they're interested in listed."
6 That Used to Work!
Olympus E-10 - Thanks to Colin. "Used to work fine in Jaguar and iPhoto, now all images transferred with Panther are corrupt. Not good."
Canon PS330 - Thanks to Rick. "Worked until 10.2.8"
Samsung Digimax 130 - Thanks to Brett, Eric & Wendicat. "Worked until 10.2.8"
Canon EOS Digital Rebel - Thanks to Julie. "On list but doesn't work"
Panasonic Lumix FZ-10 - Thanks to Steve. "I have the Lumix FZ-10. In i-Photo 2 the pictures that downloaded had .... or ---- for straight lines like window sills etc. I got v.4 and the problem is better."
Minolta DiMage 2300 - Thanks to Alicia. "I just bought a second hand Minolta Dimage 2300 Zoom that is listed on he iPhoto compatible list. The same problem as few of the users on here, no camera detected. I have used other cameras on my OSX before and had no problem, even when I plugged in an Olympus to my OS9, it mounted automatically. For this camera, I have tried both iPhoto and Image Capture but it still do not work. I went to the Minolta site and found out that the camera works on system 8.6 - 9.0. So it could be the problem why it's not working. But wonder why it is on iPhoto list."
