Work around .Mac sending size/number limits:
The limits** imposed on sending e-mails from your .Mac account can be cumbersome if you are part of a large organization (Mac user group, school PTA, scouts, church group, sports, etc.) and send frequent e-mails.
One method for avoiding those limits is to configure your e-mail client to use your ISP's outgoing e-mail server instead of smtp.mac.com.
Please note that this may not work in instances where the ISP verifies that the sending e-mail address is from their domain.
**The .Mac limits are described in (KB 25301) .Mac: Email Account Specifications.
