kimac: Why does my iMac keep shutting off?

Some people have problems about their iMac Flat Panel computers suddenly turning off if they touch the base of the machine. This problem is sometimes related to the power cord. If you are having this problem, you should double-check that the A/C power cord going to your iMac is plugged in snug and firm. The plastic piece on the cable itself goes all the way into the back of the machine; the only thing sticking out is the actual power cord itself.
