I want to install the free version of QuickTime, but the installer insists that I enter a QuickTime Pro registration number. How can I get past this message without purchasing QuickTime Pro?
Leave all three fields blank on the page where you are asked for a key. The QuickTime 6 installer asks you to provide a key to make it easier for people who have previously purchased keys to use the QuickTime Pro features.
