Move the following items to the trash:
From Home/Library/Preferences the file called
com.apple.FinalCutExpress.plist
and
from Home/Library/Preferences/Final Cut Exress User Data the files called
Final Cut Express 1.0 Preferences
and
Final Cut Express MOA Cache
