4 Digit Passcode is for Screen Time Restrictions

6 Digit Passcode is for iPhone lock screen

Make sure to choose a passcode that's different from the passcode you use to unlock your device. If you can't remember a restrictions passcode that you set on a previous version of iOS, or you forgot your Screen Time passcode, you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to remove the passcode. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode.

This is not consistent with what it says in this Apple document Use Screen Time to prevent purchasing on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

-->

"If you can't remember a restrictions passcode that you set on a previous version of iOS, or you forgot your Screen Time

passcode, you need to erase your device, then set it up as a new device to remove the passcode. Restoring your device from a backup won't remove your passcode."

Reset All settings will require you to use Touch ID or iPhone Passcode

I had tried this on my iPhone and it had worked. I will do this try one more time and report again here.

Limnos

Today I tried the process laid out by me. It did not work.

While doing "Reset All Settings" it asks for both Lock Screen Passcode and Screen Time Passcode.

I will have delete this process from my user Tip.

Thanks for the correction.
