How to Remove Old Email Addresses from MacOS Calendar Auto-Suggest

There have been *many* threads here and elsewhere the past few years about how to stop macOS Calendar auto-suggesting old or obsolete email addresses when creating new calendar entries.

There is now a solution. Go to the menu Calendar -> Preferences - Advanced and click on "Remove all recent locations and attendees". Once you do this, you'll only see suggestions from your Contacts.

I'm running Mojave 10.14.4 and the remove option is present. I don't know when this option first appeared, but I believe it was relatively recently.

I am posting this as a public service announcement :-) so others don't waste as much time as I have looking for a solution.
