add a new trusted number in 2FA

I have an apple id set up with 2FA a trusted number was added with it , due to some reasons the sim is damaged and the trusted number is not accessible , how to add a new trusted number so that code will be generated and I can get text message on the new device and then I can use this number with 2FA .

Using Mac OS mojave 10.14.5
