Some websites are able to be visited by Safari but find their layout leaves much to be desired. If you can try a different web browser and the layout is fixed, there is a good chance the editor of the website needs to be contacted to use a more secure standard. The only exceptions are your security update installed is older than the latest security updates:

or the alternate browser has a newer update and Safari has not yet caught up, or websites that need a newer version of a plugin such as Java. Only get Java from http://www.java.com/ or https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/

A website whose layout varies by browser indicates to hackers what standards are used by editors, and opens up the website to hackers who know the weaknesses of those standards. If the website appearance is the same on each main browser, then it is far more secure. The editor of any website is known as its webmaster. Contact them if you suspect the website editor needs to know the most secure standards. http://www.w3.org is a website that publishes the most current standards.

Note: Safari security is only maintained for the last 3 annual operating system upgrades. This means using a different web browser for older OSes on the Mac is best practice until you can upgrade to an OS that is more current.
