Find your Much Older Posts on Apple Discussions Forums:

Today, it is a bit difficult to find your older Apple Discussion Community - ones that you may have participated in a while back. So, use this Search String in a Search Engine:

[username] site:discussions.apple.com

To Filter This Further:

From there, you could use dual quotations and Plus. That would filter it down to certain posts that contain the words phrase "Temporary Internet Files".

Two Examples of Search Queues in Google:

thelittles site:discussions.apple.com

  • Screenshot 2: Find my Participations Concerning Clearing Temporary Internet Files:

"temporary internet files"+"thelittles" site:discussions.apple.com

Note: On the date of the post (Nov 6, 2019), having a post being rated as "Recommended" was overwhelmingly behind schedule, due to a major software overhaul, and many had to locate their posts. Using this Google Search Queue, is what solved this post. What was recommended as the solution: intext:"agertas" site:discussions.apple.com

Nice user tip. Some observations:

  1. If you're using Google and wish to select a particular time range you can also select Tools and then the tab on the left that starts "Any Time" and change it to a time range you want to search.
  2. One nice thing about the time range is you can search back to early days of the support site for posts no longer available with an Apple search.
  3. Note that the search does not turn up all posts by a user. I suspect results are only posts that were up when Google's spiders crawled the Apple site so results are snapshots, not a complete listing.
  4. It will only show results for Apple Support Communities posts that are visible to all level users.
