The purpose of this User Tip is to provide a quick reference list of compatible third-party remotes that work with Apple TV.
Whether it’s replacing a lost/broken remote (As I have lost many of them) --or simply upgrading to a model with more functionality, people have lots of reasons to find different options other than the Apple branded remotes. This guide can help send people in the right direction.

There very well may be additional remotes that are compatible, but which only come bundled along with their original TVs, Soundbars, or Receiver Units. I did not research any of those. This list is just the ones I could find that are for sale separately. As you can see, there’s something for everyone, from the budget minded to the extravagant.
Of course if customers just want to replace with a good ole Apple product, both the current Siri Remote and Aluminum models are still available for sale for $59 and $19 respectively.
