Screensharing MacOS FaceTime with Apple Support About your iPhone:

This is a nifty trick if you need to explain something to an Apple Rep, while on the phone with Apple Support. This will allow the Apple Rep to see this from your perspective.

The Scenario:

While on the phone with Apple Support talking about your iPhone, and you want to visually point something out (i.e. a crack or a button prompted to tap), rather than having to explain it to them in voice-only.

Screenshare Using MacOS FaceTime:

1. Open: FaceTime on your MacOS
2. Request: a Screenshare Prompt on the Mac
3. Enable: the Speakerphone on the iPhone
4. Hover: your iPhone over the Mac's FaceTime Camera
5. Show: the Apple Rep the Issue
6. Ask: the Apple Rep For Feedback
7. Converse: how to troubleshoot this
