Fixing the Music App Stalled in a “Playing Next Loop”
Fixing this Error Message:
“You are about to start playback. Do you want to clear the song previously added to Playing Next?”

B. Why the Error Message?:
If you get this error message, this means that the Music app is trying to play pending songs from Cloud service(s), yet it has stalled while in the process of doing so. Hence the name: “Playing Next Loop”.
C. How to fix this…
Perform a New Sign In: Essentially, it is a matter of signing out of your Apple Account in Music and then signing back in. After signing back in, the error message will instantaneously vanish, and you will be able to play your audio files, once more. Here are the instructions to do so, in depth:
- Locate: the message
- Go to: Account menu
- Select: Sign Out
- Go to: Account menu
- Select: Sign In
- Click: Play

E. Report this to Apple:
Do Your Part: Inform Apple that you’ve gotten this error message. Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what bugs exist, and how they should go about fixing them. - Comment: on when you came across this error message, and include the URL of this User Tip.
- Proceed from there as necessary
