Note: This is not a complete and comprehensive list of every single command that Siri uses. This list contains many unique commands that are rarely mentioned.


Restart:

Tell Siri: "Restart" to restart your device.


Shut Down:

Tell Siri: "Power off" to shut off your device.


Battery:

Tell Siri: "Battery" to see the battery status.

Tell Siri: "Low power mode" to toggle on or off.


Phone call:

Tell Siri: "Answer call" when phone is ringing.

Tell Siri: "Answer on speaker".


QR Codes:

Tell Siri: "Create QR Code" and follow the prompts.


Sports:

Siri can provide allot of useful information in this category. I will provide examples for the National Football League (American NFL). For other sports, simply substitute for similar results.


Schedules:

Tell Siri: "NFL schedule" for the entire league.

Tell Siri: "NFC schedule" or "AFC schedule" for the conference.

Tell Siri: "NFC East schedule" (substitute NFC East for any other division).

Tell Siri: "Eagles schedule" (substitute Eagles for any other team).


Standings:

Tell Siri: "NFL standings" for the entire league.

Tell Siri: "NFC standings" or "AFC standings" for the conference.

Tell Siri: "NFC East standings" (substitute NFC East for any other division).

Tell Siri: “Giants standing" (substitute Giants for any other team).


Scores:

Tell Siri: "NFL scores" for the entire league.

Tell Siri: "NFC scores" or "AFC scores" for the conference.

Tell Siri: "NFC East scores" (substitute NFC East for any other division).

Tell Siri: “Chiefs score" (substitute Chiefs for any other team).


Teams:

Tell Siri: "Who is the head coach of the Patriots (substitute "head coach" for another position or “Patriots” for another team).


To adjust the Siri pause time:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Accessibility
  3. Tap Siri
  4. Under Siri Pause Time, tap on your preferred option
