Recent versions of iTunes (up to 11.0.5) have had a defect that prevents removing individual songs from an iTunes Store Wish List. Albums are handled fine, but pressing the "X" to remove a song causes the song to disappear for a fraction of a second and then reappear.

I have reported this to Apple, so hopefully it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, here is a workaround that will clear individual songs from your Wish List. The workaround is a bit tricky, but I will attempt to explain it clearly:

Go into iTunes, and control-click on the small "X" that would normally do the song removal. Then choose "Copy Link" from the resulting menu.

Keep iTunes where it is, but open a page in Safari. Paste the link you just copied into a Safari page. Do not go there yet. You will have to edit the link first.

Toward the end, the link should have a part that looks like: "removeFromWishlist?wishlistitemid=<some number>." Between the question mark and the "w" of "wishlistitemid", you need to insert the following exactly as shown:

force10=true&

So you will end up with a line that looks something like this:

https://se.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStoreElements.woa/wa/removeFromWishlist ?force10=true&wishlistItemId=2

Now, execute that line. That should remove that particular song for you!!
