Bookmarks on Apple Support Communities allow you to save threads to read later, and add notes. You can bookmark a User Tip or a discussion thread.

To see how many bookmarks a thread has, look at the middle column here (under the "Content" view):

How Can I Bookmark a Thread?

If you want to bookmark a thread yourself, visit the thread, and you will find the option to bookmark in the upper right, below the breadcrumb links and in between the "Follow" and "Actions" buttons.

Adding Notes

Note that you cannot add notes to your bookmark from here. You must go to your profile and select the Bookmarks tab. To start, in the upper left, you should see your avatar and "Welcome (your username)." Click on this, and then click on your username in the resulting pop-up.

This will take you to your profile. The default tab will show your bio. Click the Bookmarks tab on the right of these tabs.
