Restore Calendar From iCloud.com

FYI...

My husband just lost YEARS of his iCalendar business appointments. He got on the phone with 2 separate support people. The first one was trying (talking to someone else) to find out if there was a way to recover his calendar when he was disconnected. The second one had a long discussion with him telling him he couldn't recover his calendar off of iCloud because he didn't have iCloud set as his default calendar (and told him his computer was his default calendar). This didn't make sense to me since his iPhone, iPad, and computer all share his calendar. So I logged onto my iCloud and "low and behold" there is a place you can click on that will recover your iCalendar. So I had him open his iCloud account "icloud.com/#settings", and clicked on that very same thing. We recovered his calendar!! Why didn't they know how to do that?! Hopefully this will help someone else who has this happen to them...
