I used to have no problem connecting my Nokia via Bluetooth from my iMac. However, with Bluetooth switched on my iPhone and iMac/MacBook Pro I cannot send files to my iPhone. The iPhone can see the iMac and vice versa but the connecting just goes around in circles without actually sending what is a very small file.

From what I am aware of, this is not possible. (it could just be the wrong details I read). Apparently iPhone bluetooth is only for peer connecting, headsets, car steroes etc.
If anybody can confirm this is wrong then please leave advice on how to do this.

I am able to connect my bluetooth to my AT&T home handset phone. In addition, through the use of an HP App, I can print photos (via bluetooth) from my iPhone to my HP printer.

The iPhone does not have the bluetooth protocols used for syncing phones to computers.

Well this is bad news. My $200 iPhone 3GS is less convenient than my hand me down $29 Motorola in this respect. Great.
