Not once, but twice, has Snow Leopard failed to install properly onto my iMac (intel). Spotlight went away but came back intermittently (flashing on and off). In fact, the entire menu on the upper right of the screen went bye, bye. And old, faithful printer was no where to be found, too, couldn't print. All other upgrades (since Tiger) have been seamless.

Maybe it's operator error. I'm running 10.5.7. Should I upgrade to 10.5.8 first? Have an Intel iMac, plenty of memory. Just glad HD was cloned before both attempts and was able to get back to where I was before "upgrading". Anyone have an idea what I may be doing wrong? Thank you.
