Currently Being ModeratedJul 16, 2009 6:33 AM (in response to dwmreg64)I got it now and then when I plug in my Griffin Technology FM Transmitter but it's usually at points when the transmitter isn't plugged in yet.
It could be a 3.1 fixer down the road.Dell Studio Slim (Vista) / Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.5.7), iPhone 3G(S)

Currently Being ModeratedJul 20, 2009 6:35 PM (in response to dwmreg64)I just bought an Incase Power Slider for my 3GS. Brilliant device, for the first 24-hours.
I used all the charge in the case, and now it won't recharge. If I plug it in while the iPhone is inside I get the errors listed above about how charging is unsupported.
Kinda irritating, it wasn't available in Australia so I had to order from the US. Which means I will have to return it to the US for warranty. Gotta hope the replacement lasts a whole lot longer - if I even get a replacement.
Ps. I've heard people are having reception issues with this unit. I report none so far, and I've kept the case on in the faint hope it might decide to start working again. Just thought I'd mention it.iPhone 3GS, iPhone OS 3.0
Currently Being ModeratedJul 20, 2009 11:53 PM (in response to snicholmeister)need help on this too; i'm searching everywhere for information on whether this incase power slider is compatable with 3GS. Best I can tell it is not and they are coming out when a newer version late this year, according to this report:

Currently Being ModeratedJul 21, 2009 4:25 PM (in response to bunderhill)I checked both the Incase website and the Apple (US) Online Store before purchasing. Both said the 3GS is compatible. Both sites seem to have been removed since, so I guess that sort of answers that.
Although I just did a quick search and found it is still on the Apple (UK) Store, and it says it's compatible with the 3GS:
I'm still waiting on an RA# from Incase for my borken one. Maybe if I'm lucky they'll hold off until the new one is released and they'll send me one of those instead.iPhone 3GS, iPhone OS 3.0
Currently Being ModeratedJul 21, 2009 5:58 PM (in response to dwmreg64)I do not have the charging issue. But about every 30 seconds I get the "compatibility issue" message that asks me if I want to turn on Airplane mode! Totally stinks! I have done several restore as a new phone, the last time I had to use another computer. Is there a fix for this? A 3 hour drive to the nearest Genuis bar is not an option.Dell 531, iPhone OS 3.0
Currently Being ModeratedAug 3, 2009 4:08 PM (in response to dwmreg64)I get this same problem on my 3GS with any charger other than the one that came in the box. It's very frustrating. My phone is constantly dead. Worthless.HP Pavilion dv6, Windows Vista, It's a notebook.
Currently Being ModeratedAug 15, 2009 7:41 AM (in response to dwmreg64)I have had a similar experience. Until 5 days ago, when I plugged my 3GS into the USB cable connected to my iMac it would sync and charge as expected. After “upgrading” to the latest iPhone software version (3.0.1), I get “Charging is not supported with this accessory” EVERY time I plug in to the iMac connected USB cable. It still syncs, but I have verified that it does NOT charge.
I am "not so patiently" awaiting a solution.MBP, iMac, iPhone OS 3.0.1
Currently Being ModeratedSep 11, 2009 7:48 AM (in response to dwmreg64)I have the exact same issue. I have a 3G 16GB and a 3GS 32GB and 2 of the Mophie Juice Packs that I swap back and forth between phones as needed. On the 3G they both work fine - never seen the message. The 3GS...different story. Almost impossible to use. You slide the phone out and back in - sometimes the error message pops up instantly, sometimes in 30 minutes (if you are lucky to get some charge out of it) - but the message ALWAYS pops up.
Both of my phones are IDENTICAL in regards to software and applications, other than the version specific apps (like Compass).PowerMAC, iPhone OS 3.0.1
