Currently Being ModeratedSep 12, 2009 11:08 AM (in response to Amsterdamac)The sharing stops when I try to view between a PC and a Mac. I was able to view the PCs share, but after a few operations (open a new window or trying to import a song), the sharing "crashes" and I have to restart it.
It seems a bit unstable right now. iTunes still continues to run, but the Sharing ceases.
I have about 7000 items on the PC.Mac OS X (10.5.7), iPhone 3G S

He thinks it is some kind of internal 32 bit overflow 'cause if he transfers < 2G of stuff in 1 shot, it works.
My hunch is that since apple usually shows a progress bar based on size (like when stuff is transferring to your ipod) this could be why the quantity of data seems to matter. 'cause the # of items clearly isn't hitting any kind of normal boundary.
