We received the iTunes Store Podcast Approved email, providing a link to our new podcast, but when clicked it takes us to the wrong podcast. I've found our new podcast by searching the iTunes store as well, and it shows up with the correct name and thumbnail, but once I click on it, it takes me to a different podcast.

The name of the podcast is "Foster City Elections"
The feed url is :

Any help or info on how to get intouch with someone at Apple would be great!

The feed you link to contains the 'itunes:new-feed-url-tag' intended for use when changing iTunes to a different feed: this redirects to

so presumably it is now this feed that iTunes is using. This feed also contains the same tag, effectively redirecting to itself (which of course will simply have no effect).

If you can confirm that iTunes is indeed using this 'recap' feed (I can't access iTunes at the moment, so I can't check, I'll try to do so tomorrow) then in order to sort this out you will have to change the redirection tag in the 'recap' feed to redirect to the correct feed - this can take up to two weeks to take effect though it may well be shorter - and in the meantime remove the redirection tag from the correct feed.

OK, let's try to unravel this. You have now created three feeds.

    You initially quoted

In your last post you quoted

These feeds appear to be the same, but remember that URLs are case sensitive: you have both feeds in existence so you need to decide which one you want to use and scrap the other, or you will be updating the wrong feed and wondering why it doesn't update in iTunes.

Let's assume that you want to use
This feed is, as far as I can see, good to go and you have removed the redirection tag.

However, iTunes is using the third feed: (which you inadvertently redirected it to).

This feed has a redirect tag to itself: you need to amend this to
and reupload. You will have to wait for iTunes to change to the correct feed.

    There is no feed :

It turns out Feedburner is set up to deal with case errors: but as a rule URLs are case-sensitive after the first slash.

Since I have removed the redirection tag from Foster City Elections(, shouldn't

iTunes isn't reading that feed because the podcast at that ID number has been redirected to the Recap feed.

I want to keep the City Council Recap feed as a separate feed, so I can't amend that feed to redirect to Foster City Elections, right?

You have got yourself into a tangle here. Is the Recap feed working with a separate iTunes Store page (I can't check that until tomorrow morning as I'm on Linux)? Since it's being read by the Store page we're talking about you can only get that page back to the correct feed by amending the Recap feed. if the Recap feed is indeed being read by two iTunes pages (which would seem a bit odd) then you have a problem, which you may only be able to solve by cancelling the podcast and resubmitting with the correct feed.

My main question is, How do you see what feed iTunes is looking at for each podcast?

Go to the Store page and click the Subscribe button. Go to the Library - Podcasts section in the sidebar to see the podcast. At the right-hand end of the top line (for the podcast itself, not the episodes) click the 'i' in a circle and you will see the feed URL.
