Currently Being ModeratedSep 19, 2009 5:00 AM (in response to ActIIsc2)I have the same problem with my MacBookPro and i cant believe that they not supported it anymore.
They would take it out of the sharing preferences then.
I mean why let the option there if you cant use it any more. Thats nuts.
You also find instructions in the help menu how to setup internet sharing

It worked fine until I upgraded to snowleopard... It's ridiculous that 10.6.1 doesn't support it any more... how do we report it as a bug so that they do a fix for it??imac / emac / ipod touch, Mac OS X (10.6.1), emac - 10.3.9, ipod touch 3.0.1
Currently Being ModeratedNov 15, 2009 2:04 PM (in response to Ninda)I have been having the same problem but I am on 10.5.8.
I have my iMac connected to my cable modem. In the "Sharing" Preference Pane I have "Internet Sharing" selected. "Share your connection from ETHERNET" is selected. "To computers using AIRPORT" is selected. This works for a while after re-booting the iMac but then eventually my iPhone, my AirportExpress, and my G4 Powerbook will not be able to connect to the internet. I can see my network on my iPhone and it looks like it is sharing (I can see the wifi bars in the menu) but when I try to get mail or browse the internet I get an error.
The reason I have my iMac connected to the modem instead of the AirportExpress is that I thought it would be a faster internet connection for watching Netflix movies, etc than having the signal transfer to my iMac via wifi. Since the Powerbook and iPhone would only be browsing the web I could deal with their connect being slower via wifi.
Anyone figure out a fix for this yet?iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
