Am new to iCal recently after abandoning it when it first arrived as a very V 0.8 version product but have returned now with the Exchange support of Snow Leopard.

If I edit an appointment in the exchange calendar I see no way to cancel those changes. I either must keep editing or send the update. Is this by design? How can I abandon the changes or better yet like Entourage or even Outlook be offered the option of updating the invitees or not. Am I missing something? My team is getting rather annoyed with the amount of backgroud invites coming out of iCal that Entourage & Outlook allows me to control.
