Will iLife '08 work with Snow Leopard?

Or for that matter any older version of iLife? My friend has an Intel iMac running Tiger and he wants Snow Leopard but I don't see the point in buying the box set because he doesn't need iWork and he doesn't need iLife '09.

    Yes on iLife '08. Unsure on older versions (e.g. '06).

    Note, the only supported way to upgrade from Tiger to Snow is via the Box Set.

    iLife '08 works. and iWork '08 does too

    It is a good thing to run Software Update prior to any major MacOS install.

    I try to keep all my working apps up to date.

    I am still using Quicken 2006 and it works in Snow Leopard

    Not always, my iMovie '08 does not accept dvi and mov files. This is working fine before on 10.5.
