Hello everyone!
I'd like to ask you how long did it take for you to get your new iMac 27", from order to actual delivery?

The reason for my question is that in my country, I placed an order on October 30th and I still have no date of delivery. If I had asked for extra hardware, it would be understandable, but it's the base i5 model. I called the vendor and they "guess" December 7th... just as they "guessed" November 15th.

This delay is getting really frustrating to the point I am thinking about canceling it.

So any input would be highly appreciated!
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

That is pretty hardcore! You can buy i5's in shops now in the UK. I ordered my i7 on the 11/11, it was delivered with a cracked screen on the 23/11.
    27" i7 ordered 11/11, return w/cracked screen 23/11, sulk 24/11, reordered 25/11, Mac OS X (10.4.11)

I'll be honest, I don't think it is. Delivery should take no longer than 3 days from order to anywhere in the civilised world. I don't know when people starting thinking that after ordering something from the internet it was OK to not receive it for 13 days? You wouldn't accept that from eBay!

Cracked screen? Reminds me of how a warehouse guy was throwing printer boxes around (supposedly unloading them) next to my job... I was thinking of those poor souls that will buy those. Guess this happens everywhere.

Actually, the crack in the lower left corner of the 27" iMac is being reported all the time by people across the world...

There are still online compnaies out there that have 28 day delivery policies as standard (and ship on or after that). I used to work for one, and we did get complaints but the company still made a lot of money. Luckily now I work for an Apple reseller that believes in shipping by 5pm the same day (as long as your order is in stock and you don't order just before 5).

*I ordered my 27" imac 3.06GHZ INTEL CORE 2 DUO on the 31st dec 2010, with the extended keyboard, apple care and ATI RADEON HD 4850 512MB. as these are not standard to the model i chose i expected a long delivery. the delivery status up until today has been 'not yet shipped' and today it briefly changed to 'prepared to ship' it now has changed back to 'not yet shipped' this has confused me :S*
*i wish apple's tracking system was more detailed, most people who but a mac spend alot of money on them so not showin much information on where it is is not very good!!*
    *i just want it now!!!*
