Currently Being ModeratedNov 21, 2009 6:45 PM (in response to ThomD)Ah, I fixed it! If anyone else is having this problem:
All I had to do was turn off my AirPort and make sure there was no internet connection so it didn't try to establish a server connection. Then I opened iCal, went to preferences and reset all my login info there and it seems to be syncing now.
Thanks for anyone who was going to offer their help!MacBook Pro 15" 2.2Ghz; 4GB RAM; 200GB Hard Drive, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

I've tried doing a few things but still getting the same error.
It connects to the server and creates the account and then comes back with the error message:
"The server did not recognize your user name or password for account “***@gmail.com.” Make sure you enter them correctly."Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2), 2.85GHz 4GB Ram 15" Antiglare

I've opened my console and attempted the failed logins and noticed a keychain error, the application is failing to communicate with the keychain - do you observe the same in your console output?Macbook, Mac OS X (10.4.8), 2Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 1GB RAM Dual Monitor
Currently Being ModeratedFeb 21, 2010 10:35 PM (in response to ThomD)It worked for me too. Instead of turning off Airport I selected the "Calendar->Go Offline" menu item to go offline. Then I quit iCal, relaunched it, went to Account Info, changed the password, did a "Calendar->Go Online" and refreshed.G4 MDD Dual 867 MHz. 24" iMac
