Currently Being ModeratedDec 26, 2009 2:48 PM (in response to logicalnoise)This has happened to me too. I am about to return it to Target for another copy.MacBook 2.2 GHz, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPhone 16GB, iPod Classic 160GB
Currently Being ModeratedDec 26, 2009 8:50 PM (in response to iJeffR)Do not feel bad the same thing just happened to me with my Blu-Ray sealed copy. I just openned it and it says that it has already been redeemed which is not possible.
Apple are you reading this. I think there is a problem with the Star Trek redeption codes. Maybe they were hacked. I hope not. Does anyone have an idea on who to speak to to get this problem resolved? Any advice is appreciated.

Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 1:31 AM (in response to logicalnoise)I'd also like to add to this topic by saying that my code had also been used already. I contacted Paramount support, and I hope they'll send me a new code. If they don't, than I believe it falls to Apple to help us.
Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 3:48 AM (in response to sqwar42)It's not Apple's job to straighten this out, it's Paramount's.
Starting with giving buyers a new key and then finding out what happened to their security.Windows 7
Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 2:47 PM (in response to logicalnoise)Same here. Except I purchased it about a month ago and just haven't got around to opening it until today. Spent the afternoon redeeming digital copies that we got for Christmas and this is the only one I had trouble with.Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2), G4 1.25Ghz DP, PB 1.25Ghz,2-G3's, 5-680XX's(RIP), 3 Computers from the Dark Side
Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 3:12 PM (in response to David St. Onge)Same here. Just opened mine today and entered my code. iTunes says it's already been used.
A quick Google search shows that there may be a torrent file that's spreading the digital copy download codes. I guess mine was unlucky enough to be on the list. I had the Target exclusive Enterprise package, too.
Should I just try my luck returning it?Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 4:28 PM (in response to eshirt)Same problem with my digital copy of Star Trek. Has anybody found a fix?iMac 21.5, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Currently Being ModeratedDec 27, 2009 5:27 PM (in response to ccsmrs)The fix would be paramount giving up new codes to everyone who bought blu-rays with the digital copy included. guessing by this thread their entire log of codes was hacked.
I'm going to write them here: http://www.paramountblu-ray.com/support_request.aspx
see if that gets me anywhere.AMD 64 Bit PC, Windows Vista

Currently Being ModeratedDec 29, 2009 8:33 AM (in response to logicalnoise)Just wanted to jump in here with a quick update. We are still investigating this issue, but I can assure everyone that if they contact support via the website at http://www.paramountdigitalcopy.com/support/, they will receive a new code for their digital copy of Star Trek for iTunes or Windows Media. However our support team has been very backed up because of the holidays so if you don't get a reply right away, don't panic. We will get to you.
I have done numerous Web searches for any sign of files available via BitTorrent or other P2P networks that contain working Star Trek digital copy codes, but apart from sites that exploit Google's search engine and generate phony "search results" of their own, I have not had any luck. It is possible this is just an Internet rumor, but we are still checking.
Please respond to me in this thread with info on which version of the Star Trek set you got that has this issue, so we can narrow the field of possible causes. If you could also throw in any more info about that supposed torrent file (i.e. my brother downloaded it and it has a bunch of codes, etc), please do so.
