Q: Rendering out keyed subject leaves DOD matte, help?
Hi guys, quick one. New to Shake. Thanks in advance!
Trying to export a clip of a keyed shot of a person and drop it in to Final Cut. When the clip comes in, there is a black square around the person. Has an Alpha, but still a black square around subject.
I used a setDOD node to clean around the subject (the black square). Have tried (in keylight) using "Comp", "UnPreMult" and "On Black" and nothing seems to get rid of the DOD square.
Any ideas of what node I'm not using? Pleeeeease?
Thanks!

You mean instead of a garbage matte? I don't get it.
Try connecting a Rotoshape to Keylight's GarbageMatte input,
and lose the setDOD.
