Q: Apple LaserWriter Select 360 with Windows 7 OS

I have an Apple LaserWriter Select 360 printer, and it still works beautifully. I have it on my home network, and I can print to it from all my Macs - G4's, MacBkPro, iMac, etc. I have added an HP dv7-3080US laptop, running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the drivers so I can print from the HP to my LaserWriter Select 360?

1) Have a home network setup
2) All laptops and desktops are connected via ethernet cables to Linksys
3) The Apple LaserWriter is on the network via "Farallon EtherMac iPrint Adapter"
4) I can print from any computer
5) The new HP "sees" the LaserWriter but I need the drivers that work with WINDOWS 7

I'd appreciate any help with this. Thank you.

    I am not familiar with the Farallon EtherMac iPrint Adapter. However, I am able to print to my LaserWriter Select 360 from WIndows 7 through a LinkSys Print Server (Model EFPS2) by choosing the HP LaserJet 4/4M Plus PS 600 printer driver in WIndows.

    I needed to click Windows Update in the printer driver selection dialog in order for this driver to appear. The Windows Update took several minutes, but the driver did eventually appear.

    This is an awesome printer that will never die. I'll have to finally stop using it when toner cartridges are no longer available.

    Using any of { farallon EtherMac iPrint LT, or the AsanteTalk. or LocalTalk Bridge software running on an OS 9 or older Mac } converts that printer into a network AppleTalk-over-Ethernet Postscript printer.

    If the printer can be seen, perhaps a generic Postscript driver could be used in Windows 7.

    Appletalk-over-Ethernet support will disappear in Mac OS 10.6, unless you keep at least one Mac running an older version of Mac OS X, or change to a Print Server that presents an LPR/LPD or an IPP interface.

    One more note for the information.

    Windows 7 haven't provide any Apple's printer driver by default although you can find Apple printer driver under Windows XP.

    Therefore, you will need Windows XP CD for the driver installation in Windows 7.

    This is what I tried before and hope it is helpful to you.
