Currently Being ModeratedMar 7, 2010 4:51 AM (in response to James8aus)If you have a new phone AND you have a new SIM AND it still works with 3G disabled AND there is no difference to the problem then MAYBE it's a 'carrier' issue combining your carrier file specifics with your carrier's 3G network coverage and how they have set up their network lay-offs from 3G when the 3G service is marginal or fails.
Personally I'd check network coverage maps for 3G and 2G (GSM in one form or another) for your carrier (you don't give your location so it's impossible to be specific) and then give the carrier a hard time to prove to YOU that it's not THEIR network that's causing YOUR problem!
