Preview of JPG files do not preview

    Got on the phone with apple support and they had me do a fix permissions with disk utility. Problem solved.

    hello, I'm new here and I had the same problem I repair permissions, delete the plist files and nothing

    and solve it by reinstalling the update-combo

    Posting your question on the bottom of a thread that is marked as solved is not the best way to get it noticed. I suggest you start your own thread.

    Here is the fix that took care of JPG files in the Preview Application.

    First, I remove the preference plist files regarding Preview: bookmarks.plist

    Second, download Snow Leopard 10.6.2 combo update (MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.2.dmg) from Apple Support and install the update.

    Third, the computer will restart with the 10.6.2 update installed and Preview works! Hope this works for you.
