• First, I remove the preference plist files regarding Preview:
• Second, download Snow Leopard 10.6.2 combo update (MacOSXUpdCombo10.6.2.dmg) from Apple Support and install the update.
• Third, the computer will restart with the 10.6.2 update installed and Preview works! Hope this works for you.2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, Mac OS X (10.6.2), 3 GB 1066 MHz DDR3
