Mar 30, 2010 7:26 PM in response to Dr. AMMby Limnos,Sheepshaver isn't an Apple product and strictly speaking you'd be better off getting advice on Sheepshaver's own support forum, though it's quite possible somebody here might be able to help you. Usually you just double click on an application and it opens any necessary supporting elements but Sheepshaver isn't even an OS9 application as such. -
Apr 11, 2010 5:44 PM in response to Dr. AMMby Ian Ross,That's good to know Sheepsaver will run on Snow Leopard, as I am just about to move from Tiger to SL on my 17" MacBook Pro. I have Sheepshaver running to access my Hypercard stacks, and moving directly between OSX desktop to OS 9 in Sheepshaver is not possible due to the limitations in the way the software works. When you install Sheepshaver there should be some disk images provided that have been configured to open in the OS 9 window as extra drives, PROVIDING they are located in your HDD>USERS>SHARED folder. To transfer applications and files to open in Sheepshaver, you need to open a Sheepshaver disk image in the SHARED folder, and drag or copy from OSX desktop/folder/etc to the disk image, then close it. When you next start up OS9 in Sheepshaver, there files will be found in the dick image that appears on the OS9 desktop in Sheepshaver. IT would be wonderful if sheepshaver could be further developed to allow "drag and drop" from OSX to OS9, but not available at the moment.
