Currently Being ModeratedJan 1, 2010 10:34 AM (in response to Zoopster)Stephan,I tried to use your Web page to request a new download code, but each time (three tries) I received the following error message:
"Server Error in '/' Application.
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
Can you help with this? Should I just try again?
Thanks.Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Currently Being ModeratedJan 1, 2010 6:13 PM (in response to logicalnoise)I had the same issue today. Got the steelcase blu-ray edition from Future Shop and it gave me the same message about already being used.
I already contacted the paramount support, but as I haven't received a response yet, I went looking for info and found this thread.Windows XP
Currently Being ModeratedJan 1, 2010 11:45 PM (in response to David St. Onge)Got mine as a gift over the holidays - opened it today. Brand new sealed copy from Best Buy in Canada.
"Code already used".
Gonna contact Paramount (shame on them!).MBP 2.5GHz two-ni-body, Mac OS X (10.5.7)
Currently Being ModeratedJan 2, 2010 9:13 AM (in response to logicalnoise)Same exact thing happened to me. Paramount's website is no help whatsoever. I emailed Apple support and they sent me a new code immediately. Hope that helps...MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 4GB, blah blah
Currently Being ModeratedJan 5, 2010 7:23 AM (in response to TheAnnihilatrix)Same issue for me. Blu-Ray, purchased before the holidays. I filled out the Paramount form on 12/27 and still no response. I know they are probably overwhelmed, but its pretty frustrating. I have now emailed Apple.MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.2)
Currently Being ModeratedJan 6, 2010 5:47 PM (in response to logicalnoise)Has anyone had any luck with a fix for this? There doesn't seem to be anything functional on the Paramount site. I try to contact them and just get redirected to the Apple support page, which is useless.
Is the only fix to return the set and just get a new one? Amazon.com hasn't been very helpful either. They say, "contact Paramount," which, it seems, is impossible.HP, Windows XP Pro
Currently Being ModeratedJan 6, 2010 6:28 PM (in response to Rob Kie)I received my new code earlier today from Paramount support. I filed my support issue two days after Christmas. It seems like they're back to work and getting through the (most likely very long) list of faulty codes.
Hang in there!
Also, I know it's not Apple's responsibility to fix this issue, but I did email iTunes Store support since I hadn't heard back from Paramount. Apple provided me a replacement code less than 24 hours later. It seems like either way you need support, someone will get you a new code.
Don't worry - I'm going to tell Paramount to void my second replacement code. I don't want to take advantage of the situation! I'm just happy to see it taken care of so transparently and (relatively) quickly.Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Currently Being ModeratedJan 7, 2010 3:15 PM (in response to eshirt)received and redeemed my new code anyone who has trouble should definitely email paramount blu-ray support. I'm marking this question answered.AMD 64 Bit PC, Windows Vista
Currently Being ModeratedJan 7, 2010 11:18 PM (in response to logicalnoise)I'd also like to add that I received a new code on January 7th. I just redeemed it, and everything seems to be working fine.
Kudos to Paramount for dealing with this situation.
Currently Being ModeratedJan 9, 2010 12:06 AM (in response to sqwar42)i'd like to thank paramount too, they emailed me a new code on the 7th

Currently Being ModeratedJan 30, 2010 12:41 AM (in response to logicalnoise)There is a form on the paramount website to fill out, obviously, they are aware of the situation as they have a list of like 12 movies that are obviously having this same issueMacbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
Currently Being ModeratedApr 7, 2010 6:03 PM (in response to logicalnoise)I'm having a problem as well. I'm having a problem with the 2-Disc, non-Blue Ray, edition. It keeps saying it's been canceled, and I just bought it new and all. Is this Paramount's way of investigating the problem, canceling codes?MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)
