I found and used
While this will work, be aware that you are modifying your compiler environment and may have issues when building other software against existing libraries.
That said, if one encounters issues compiling ClamAV on Tiger with an Intel CPU and XCode 2.5, simply use ClamAV 0.95.3. While not the latest version, it is light years ahead of what users had before ClamAV 0.94.x was disabled last week.
Also, as far as security is concerned, you are all running an EOL Operating System which has many many obsolete libraries and software packages installed. If that worries you, consider updating to a newer OS version.
And finally if one really cannot live without a cutting edge version of ClamAV on OS X 10.4.11 Tiger Server and an Intel CPU, use this config string:
CFLAGS="-O0" CXXFLAGS="-O0" ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --mandir=/usr/local/share/man --sysconfdir=/private/etc/spam/clamav/new --enable-bigstack --with-user=clamav --enable-static --with-group=clamav --with-dbdir=/var/clamav --datadir=/var/clamav --disable-llvm
I'm having a problem on the last steps:
sudo /bin/launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.clamav.freshclam.plist
sudo /bin/launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/net.clamav.freshclam.plist
sudo /bin/launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.clamav.clamd.plist
sudo /bin/launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/net.clamav.clamd.plist
sudo /bin/launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.amavis.amavisd.plist
sudo /bin/launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/org.amavis.amavisd.plist
On the 2nd unload command I get an error "unable to unload" and on the third unload/load command is there a typo? It appears to be loading and loading the same thing? I get an error on that one as well.
