Got my shuffle 3g today and I am kind of worried about activating the "VoiceOver Battery Status" feature - at least too often.

Anybody who uses this feature a lot can report that their powerswitch is still in good condition?

Asking this because mine does a) wobble a bit (very very little) and b) is not all the way "up" (just 1mm of the button is outside the case).

Only part (besides the headphones of course) that i am worried about.

Thanks in advance for any info

I believe the design of the shuffle only has the power/shuffle switch slightly raised above the casing. As to wobble, I can't detect any, but it does move left and right in its track (i.e. the direction of operation).

I'm not a heavy user of the battery status function, so I can't opine on the rest of your question. You will get a voiceover warning of low battery well before the unit stops operating so don't worry about it...
