I'm not really sure why this happens, but I've had to do it once again since I first had the problem.

As long as you don't have the option checked you shouldn't have to again.

    And you're welcome.

When I deleted the Photo Cache folder from the folder where my pics are, everything syncs fine now. Thanks.

I to was having a problem when trying to sync my photos. I did a search for all folders named "iPod Photo Cache". After finding them (I had 8 of them), I deleted all of the folders and then re-sync'd my iPhone. It worked fine after that. Hope this helps.

I've been syncing my photos from My Pictures folder via iTunes onto my iphone 3GS with no problems for sometime now. I recently moved ALL my photos onto a network share (Photos) on my Windows Home Server. I told itunes to look for my photos in this network folder rather than My Pictures. The photos would not sync! I searched the net and as a consequence I deleted the ipod photo cache but still no photo syncing. help please?

Try Image Capture on your macbook to capture your Camera Roll. If you want the albums you made then go here:

You can get a third party software from http://www.ecamm.com
Its called "PhoneView" There is a free version and one for 19.99.

I ended up getting both. It sure beats email all those cropped photos I put in albums to myself.
That would have taken forever so the 19.99 is worth it. Good Luck!
