Could anyone kindly give me some guidance as to what I need in order to view repeats shown on BBC iPlayer (www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer), on my television set? Thanks. Kev

BBC iPlayer is not available on the AppleTV.

You could try hooking your Macbook up to the TV and just view it via a browser in full screen mode.

If you have a wii there's iPlayer on there these days and several other devices eg Humax freesat box.

AppleTV (the device this forum is named after) won't give you iplayer .

Oh and by the way there's another service called seesaw you might want to check out which shows old UK stuff with adverts for free including BBC content.

Adding BBC iPlayer to your AppleTV is easily accomplished for not too much outlay - and a simple search on the web will reveal the details.

Unfortunately, Apple policy prevents me from giving the specific details here.

    Hi

You can download iplayer downloader (free)

This will allow you to download an iplayer program as an mp4
Just drag this to the Movie sections of iTunes and then you can sync that to your appleTV. This also works for an iPad
