Q: Connecting to USB port on TV
My TV has a USB port where I can plug in my USB and play movies from fine. However, I only have a 1 gb USB and sometimes the movies are a bit larger. I tried putting these movies (the same file type etc as the other movies that worked fine) onto my ipod and connecting that. I put them on the iPod from within finder, not itunes.
However, the TV wont read any files from the iPod. The ipod screen lights up white with a do not disconnect sign, it seems to be connected fine, but the TV wont read it.
I would have thought that this wouldn't have been a problem because ipods can be used just like normal USBs. Or I am wrong? Is there something different about the USB drive functions of an ipod compared to a usb stick? Can this be fixed?
Thanks.

Mac OS X
Should this work
Yes, but the iPod must be restored from within iTunes if you want to continue to use it as a music/video player.
