My Mac Mini was previously running Leopard with 1GB memory. I finally got around to upgrading the OS to Snow Leopard and upgrading to 2GB of memory. I first installed Snow Leopard and everything appeared to go well (I can't remember if the sound worked though).

Two days later I installed the two 1GB memory sticks from Crucial.com. I did it myself and followed the excellent ifixit.com guide. I did everything by the book and I'm 99% sure I didn't disconnect any speaker cable.

Now the volume is grayed out (on the top menu bar) and when I click into "sound" it says "no output device."

Any idea how to get the sound fixed?

Thanks,
Ottoman
