I always used clear screen protecting film (forgot brand) on my 3G. But now since 4G has glass in the back as well I'm looking for a two piece film. I know there are ZAGG IvisibleShield and Skinomi TechSkin but I never had experience with them. Any experience with those two if not on 4G then maybe on older iPhones? I don't like films that leave residue or require some special adhesive solution.

my wife and I have had Zagg's on our 3G's for 2 years. Easy to apply and INCREDIBLY tough. I'll be getting another with the next phone.

I just put my Zagg on about 2 hours ago. Its really grippy. Its pretty easy to install just make sure that you take your time, work in a dust free enviorment, clean and wash your hands, wipe down your phone so that its spotless, and use a LINT FREE cloth to soak up the liquid.

    I use bestskinsever.

Much less expensive than Zagg. In face, I believe I bought two total skins for $5.99 each, +$1 shipping.

im not fond of paying a nice price for a skin but from what ive seen about the so called stronger glass screen. Im not takin any chances on skins or cases just spent around 55 total in protection for a 400 dollar phone that apple or att wont replace if i crack or scratch the screen.

What worries me about Zagg is the liquid solution you have to use. What it is for? All my previous films will cling without this.

Well I just put a Zagg on mine since that's the only one available in the area for right now. And it's only on the front so I left the original clear strip on the back until I get a clear protector for it. I just ordered a front and back set in Matt (that's what I prefer bc I hate glossy) and it only cost me 5 dollars. I got it off ebay, meanwhile I spent 15 dollars on the zagg front piece. I dont think Zagg is any better than other ones, I had a cheap one from the mall on my 3GS and it worked perfectly and enabled me to sell my phone in mint condition to get the 4G. So, I will probably end up pulling off the glossy zagg and putting on the matt ones from ebay. Good luck on your decision.

I would of suggested zagg, I have used it on all my electronics and even my running watch and nothing has ever scratched.

Please let us know how the Wrapsol works out.

I have used SGP shields off Ebay for my 3G S, nice and clean look but, they do scratch up after awhile and I always ended up replacing it because I like a nice clean scratch free screen (if ever really possible). After I purchased my iPhone 4, I decided to try Zaggs out. After I installed it, I will have to say that I didn't like it as much because it's not flat. However, I was told to give it 24 hours to allow it to set and the rest of the air bubbles will smooth themselves out. Waited and next day, not bad. I'm happy with the Zagg and glad I tried it.

Power Support USA makes cases and films for the iPhones. I had one of the Anti-glare films for my iPhone 3G as well as one of their cases which was awesome. The anti-glare film keeps the screen looking smudged up which is nice. The films are very protective. Mildly frustrating to put on but once they are on they are on and you don't have to worry about the screen scratching at all. They are easy to remove if you need to remove them for any reason. I highly recommend them. The only problem is that they don't have skins for the 4 yet. They ship in mid july.

I tried the zagg dry mount and thought it looked just awful. Took it off and returned it (got it at an AT&T store). I really liked the screen protector I got at the Apple store for my 3G, so am going to wait and see if they get them in sometime. For now, my phone's always in a leather clip case when not in use.......
