    Let me get this straight....
You have a new iPhone and it did not work properly while holding it like a normal person until after you bought a case for it??

This would be correct but who doesn't have some type of case on their expensive phone? Sure it detracts from the looks but you'd have to be nuts not to have one on this sexy thing!

I don't have a case, and I never have had a case. The phone should work without one.

Huh? Why would one put on a case so that it looks like an original iPhone or 3G/S?? I want to "show off" that I have the iPhone 4

Actually, it makes me a bit of a masochist as it gives people something to mock me about Others, without iPhone 4, like to ask me about the antenna problem...

Is the body glove thicker than the bumper? The bumper didn't solve my problem. Also, did they have anything with a belt clip. I'm dying for a belt clip! Congrats on solving the prob

Those who have had their call reception issues solved with the case, should also check data speeds. Try testing your data rates with the phone in your left hand and also with the phone on a table. If you're getting a disparity, the problem is not really solved.

I'm waiting on a case today and will report if it does anything. But I don't think this is the way to resolve a design/software issue. If Apple doesn't come up with a fix other than the case, I too will return the phone before my 30 days are up.

That does not 'solve' the issue and instead only masks the problem. If you take the case off the issue will probably still be there...

i think most people aren't testing the actual data speeds using a speed tester. they see full bars and think it's fixed. I don't think a case will solve this problem to be honest.

I have an idea for a new product!! An apple branded glove for your hand. Use it when you need to make calls on your iPhone 4. That way you can really show off your new phone, without having to hide it behind a hideous looking case, while talking on it without dropping that important conversation.

    I'm going to patent this!
