I had the 3G before i upgraded to the Iphone 4. I also updated to 4.0 i dont think they ironed out all the problems with it. my 3g was very sluggish when i upgraded didnt notice a battery life problem though. I dont think you are the only person who has this problem, check the 3G forum you may find more info there.Acer, Windows 7

May wish to review the differences in battery robbing in this article between iOS versions. In some areas, the battery improved minutes, other lowered minutes.
If you have all your features disabled (WiFi, 3G, PUSH, Mail, etc), this should buy you some time, but I would carry chargers around. My 3GS was dead half way along the day in "no service" and part of the time surfing.Dell Studio Slim / Mac Mini 4GB Model, Mac OS X (10.6.4), iPhone 4 w/MobileMe
