I'm probably in the minority, but...

I'd really like a soft leather or cloth pouch to slide my iPhone into so that it "rides" comfortably in my pocket. Is such a thing available yet? Maybe one of the old iPod Socks will fit?

Thx,
ALF

That does not produce a useful answer.

My husband loves the ikonic edge cases. He had one for his 3GS, and is waiting on his I4 to come in the mail!

They fit however about half a centemeter of the iphone 4 sticks out of the top.

Great for smaller devices though but in my opinion I wouldnt recommend for the iphone4. They offer good temporary protection until you find another case.

I've pre ordered this one in black for my iPhone 4, its getting released later this month:
    http://www.iconic.co.nz/index.php?mainpage=product_info&cPath=22_23&productsid=343&zenid=25c431339d48c7007d27983957bd14c3

They are made and shipped from New Zealand. Even with the cost of the shipping, it is only a few pounds more than a Knomo case I got from the Apple store, which I find was not the most durable/best of quality product.

I prefer the leather pouches has I find they provide virtually no extra bulk and they look really good too.

At present I am using one of my girlfriend's iPod socks on my iPhone 4 until my iKonicedge leather pouch arrives. To be honest I hate using the sock on the iPhone 4. They have a habit of rolling/creeping off the iPhone 4 whilst its in a trouser pocket.

The socks are fine on smaller devices, but on the iPhone 4 I find there no good in my opinion. Roll on the Ikonicedge leather pouch getting released

A search for "iPhone 4 leather pouch" does not produce a useful answer for "I'd really like a soft leather or cloth pouch to slide my iPhone into"?

    I suggest you sue Google.

    To the OP.....

Perhaps you didn't wait long enough for the google search to finish. I think the poster make have been trying to be a little sarcastic but in the end you get the results.

You obviously do not know how to use Google, nor anything digital or electronical. I suggest that you return your phone and go live in a cave.

At the risk of feeding all the trolls...

Perhaps consider that I'd already done a Google search, which is far less effort than logging into these forums and creating a post.

As you should already know (because you're so much smarter than me) Google produces pages & pages of USELESS results for ANY search. So the fact that it produces "results" doesn't mean they're useful.

Thus I turned to the community to see what other people were buying and there have been a couple of interesting suggestions. I'm still looking for something more akin to the Palm Pre case, but appreciate their input and am glad they interpreted my inquiry constructively.

To the original poster: do you have any stray single socks in the back of the sock drawer?

I found a single sock with brightly coloured stripes, and with a pair of sharp scissors cut off the top half the sock. The iphone slips smoothly in and out, and I like the idea of recycling rather than adding more strain to our already challenged ecosystems by contributing to the supply of discretionary consumption (iphone aside, of course! LOL!).

Give it a try! It will save you money as well!
