*Your View. Brought to you by you.*

Your View lets you choose to see the topics you find most interesting and avoid the topics you don’t. You see exactly the information you want to see, when you want to see it. Because it’s Your View.

*Why Customize?*

With Your View you can customize the way you view and consume content. By default, you’ll be able to view any content that you’ve created, any posts to which you’ve responded, and any recent activity within the community. And, you can change Your View as often as you like, because Your View takes all its orders from you.

Customizing with Confidence

Once you’ve logged in for the first time, your account will default to Your View. To customize Your View, click on the Edit link from the Your View tab. Here you can customize your layout and add, remove, or edit widgets.

*Working with Widgets 101*

*Add a Widget:*
Let’s say you want to add a widget for Unanswered Questions. From the Widgets list, click on the widget category from which you’d like to choose a widget. For Unanswered Questions, select Content, and when a list of widgets is displayed, select Unanswered Questions. Now, click on the Drag to Add button and drag the widget to the place you would like it to appear on Your View.

*Edit a Widget:*
Now, let’s say you want to create a widget to view unanswered questions within a specific community, such as iMac Intel. Once you’ve added your widget as described above, click on the Down arrow at the top, right corner of the Unanswered Questions widget, and select Edit this Widget from the drop down menu. Here you can create a custom title, designate the number of threads displayed, and filter the widget by a specific product community. If you’d only like to see unanswered questions for a specific product, then type that Product Community name into the “Place” field. Once you start typing, a list of Product Communities will display. Choose the one you want and click Save Properties.

*Remove a Widget:*
If you wish to remove a widget, click on the Down arrow at the top, right corner of the Unanswered Questions widget. Select “Remove this widget” from the drop down menu, and the widget will be removed.

You and Your View. You were made for each other.
