Just a couple of points i wanted to comment on from my last post.

    1. Apple bumper - Apparently i have heard mix reports that the first ever bumpers dont scratch the case because they contain plastic hold and volume buttons, The later version and case program bumpers have metal hold and volume buttons. Metal on metal causes scuffs.

    2. If a apple product damages the product it was designed and build for and its faulty you have the right as a customer to demand a refund or replacement for an non damage product. Speaking to apple store they said that it was a fault and was happy to replace the iphone for me.

If you think its stupid or silly to replace a product that is faulty or becomes damaged due to a official product causing damage. I will never buy an apple official product again and hope this shows that sometimes the big companies drop the ball and causes early adaptors to have so many problems.

    3. Anyone had a problem with their iphone 4 muting or holding calls when making or recieving phone calls? well september saw a new hardware change to the front screen which moves the sensor from above the ear piece to underneath the camera. this can be seen if you place a lamp or light source on the screen. The old versions will have the sensor above the ear piece and new version will have the sensor next the camera. LAME!

This is really annoying because the hardware revision is only 2 months after launch yet none of us would ever know.

I find it very interesting to read the signature lines of those complaining. They usually only contain iOS or iPhone 4 .. Seems the majority go so far as to include "Vista", "XP" or "7" somewhere in the sig.

I had a sports car that I was "anal" about. I swore to my family and friends that there was no tree in front of my speeding car when I totaled it!

So a Microsoft product is causing the damage?

I'm glad to see that most posters in this thread are admitting that the bumper IS scratching/scuffing up the steel around their iPhone 4's! Early posters here called me stupid and crazy...I guess we now know who the stupid and crazy ones are lol.

Apple has really performed an EPIC FAIL of all proportions here with this phone. I have since purchased a new phone (iPhone 4) and an incase case and all is well

Do not use the bumper unless you want your steel all scratched/marked up from the bumer.

I guess you are one of the lucky ones who got a case that was made correctly...just like the phone itself lol.

That's because Window users are more smart users then Mac's...there is hardly any software for Mac's, why would anyone want one? Beyond fanboys that is.

What? Is it still 1992 where you live?

90 percent of the software I use has no Mac versions available...I guess it must still be 1992. Windows users occupies the computer world, so people make software for us and not you...just the way it is bro. I realize that Mac's can now run Windows for programs that have no Mac versions but uhm doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of switching to a Mac in the first place? I thought so lol...Apple was just pressed to try to get more to switch so they added that feature.

Also Mac's are overpriced, 3K for a 17" notebook that doesn't even have Blu-ray? Pleaes I have a fully loaded 17.3" fully loaded notebook (with Blu-ray & 1080p screen) for half that price with better hardware.

    Suckas are born a minute...

Gee, thanks for pointing that out.

Yet, somehow I survive. My silly Macs running Office and Avid and Final Cut and Pro Tools.

Blu-ray. Wow. I'll keep that in mind.

I would like to point out that your drivel about absolutely nothing of import is completely off topic.

On a side note, why does it always have to be MAC vs PC? Why can't both sides just realize that both have their cons and pros and that people have the right to choose their preferred system without attack, criticism, or insult. Both sides are normally childish about this subject and as a result both sides end up hurting their own cause more than if they had just let bygones be bygones

Personally, I prefer PCs. As an avid gamer and a cheapskate, PCs fit both my needs (cheap to build and more game compatible) That's not to say they are better than MAC computers, or that they have no fault. Everyone has different needs so let them buy an OS that meets them without complaining about what is better.
